Valentine's Day at Daycare!

The kids' had their Valentine's Day party at daycare. They got to make Valentine's Day cards and bring them to daycare. Callie's Valentine's were single packets of formula decorated with a Yo Gabba Gabba Valentine and sticker. Jakobe's Valentine's were Disney themed coloring and activity pads! Jakobe enjoyed lots of treats for his party! He was also super hyper!

Callie has started to suck her thumb! Too cute! She must have had a good Valentine's Day party too....she was asleep when we got home!

A Fun Weekend!

She Can ROLL! ------Video

Ok, so I'm not even kidding you, this is a video of Callie rolling over for the very first time! She was so close to rolling over that I went and grabbed the camera, hit record and there she goes! It took her a few attempts to finally get it but once she got it she's been rolling and rolling and rolling! It was so exciting that David and I both got to see her roll over for the first time and even better that I got it on video so we can watch that moment over and over again. So here it is! ENJOY!

Callie at 4 Months Old!

Callie is 4 months old on February 1st. She is 11 lbs 8 oz and 24 inches. As of February 3rd, 2010 our baby girl can roll over!!! Woo Hoo! She can hold her head up well. She likes to sit up to view what is going on. She loves to grab and reach for things. She likes light up and musical toys. She smiles, giggles, coos, and laughs a lot! She loves to hear her own voice. She is alert to sounds and looks in the direction a noise or voice comes from. Her face is more animated, showing her moods more often. She puts her fist in her mouth. She makes a smacking noise when she is hungry. She wakes 1-2 times a night to eat and then goes right back to sleep. She eats 4-5 oz at each feeding. She is in 0-3 month clothes and is in a size 1 diaper. Jakobe and Callie get along so well. It is so much fun to see them interact together and to see how excited Callie gets when Jakobe is around her! She is so beautiful. I love her big beautiful eyes!

Weekend in Bettendorf!

                                                                              We had a fun weekend in Bettendorf. We went there to see every one and celebrate Jakobe's 2nd birthday! One of his presents from Grandma T and Grandpa Mark was his new big boy bed. Just like the one he has at home. It was perfect! He slept all night. They even ordered Yo Gabba Gabba bedding for him! Woo Hoo! He's one lucky boy!

 Jakobe had a BLAST playing in the Jungle Bungle for his birthday. He ran around every where. Daddy, myslef, Aunt Trudy, and Grandma Tara all took turns chasing him around. He had so much fun! He is a super fast runner too!

IT'S PLAY TIME!!!

Jakobe was a lucky boy and got a second birthday party in Bettendorf! We celebrated his birthday at Happy Joe's Jungle Bungle! Jakobe enjoyed pizza and icecream upstiars while the staff sang Happy Birthday to him. Then we all went downstairs where Jakobe got to play in the Jungle Bungle play area and RUN RUN RUN! Then he sat and enjoyed a cupcake! It was a super fun weekend! Thanks every one for spending the day with us and making his birthday special!
