Happy 2nd Birthday Jakobe!!!

We had Jakobe's 2nd birthday party at Jumpin' Jacks. They have big inflatables, arcade games, bubble machine, and a toddler area. We thought Jakobe would love the inflatables and love to jump on them since he is always jumping on every piece of furniture at home. WE WERE SO WRONG! He hated the inflatables. When we put him inside he screamed bloody murder. He did not like it at all. David took him to the top of a slide and Jakobe just screamed. He was so scared. Jakobe did have a great time running around. I'm not kidding. He literally ran and ran and ran around the room. He was having a blast! He was so cute just running and running! We also tried to do presents which he wasn't having. He didn't want to sit still, he wanted to....you guessed it, RUN! So instead of fighting with him to open presents we let him run! After we tried and failed with the presents we sang Happy Birthday to him. Right at the end of the song Jakobe decided to try and grab the flame of the candle burning his finger. He was ok but it was enough to scare him. He didn't want anything to do with the cake.....he wanted to RUN! So we let him run around while the rest of us ate some cake! He had a great party! Friends and family were there to celebrate him turning 2! He is so much fun to be around. We are so lucky to have him in our lives (and Callie too). I know Jakobe had an amazing Yo Gabba Gabba themed birthday! Thanks to everyone who shared his special day with us! I also want to thank my mom for all of her help with his party and making the goody bags.                                                                                                                                                                   Singing Happy Birthday to Jakobe, right before he grabbed the flame on his candle and burned his finger. He was ok but it scared him good. He didn't want to sit for any cake after that, he wanted to run around. This was the only cake shot I got at his party :( I did eventually get more at home.
