Jakobe is 21 months old. He weighs 24 pounds even. He is doing extremely well being a big brother. Today he helped me give Callie a bath. She is 3 weeks old and so far he has given her her bottle, her pacifier, and kisses. We are getting somewhere. He still gets jealous every now and then but he's doing much better. I'm extremely impressed with how quickly he has adjusted to her. Jakobe growing everyday. He is so much fun. He has so much energy and it is such a blast to play with him. He can now get up on the couch all by himself and he can jump. He likes to jump. He also likes to run. The kid never walks anywhere! He's always on the go! He sits at the table now to eat....no more high chair. As much as I love the baby stage, I can't wait for Callie to get a little older so she and Jakobe can interact and play together. As we all know that will be around the corner....as fast as they grow up. Pretty soon, we'll be planning Jakobe's 2nd birthday! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jakobe took ALL of the 24 cans of pop out of the box and put them on the floor. It was really cute.
Jakobe is 20 months old. The most new and exciting news is that he is a big brother now! He is slowly getting used to Callie. At first he didn't want ANYTHING to do with her but as the days go by he is getting more and more used to her. He tried to giver her is pacifier....then he touched her hand.....then he gave her a kiss. At least we are making progress. He still gets jealous when I hold her. He will tug at my pants and pout, cry, and even throw fits. When I'm changing her at her changing table he will stand in front of me and try to push me away from the table. He is still doing very well to adjusting to her though.
Jakobe weighs 23 lbs 7 oz. He is just so much fun. I love the baby stage but I actually can't wait for Callie to be Jakobe's age. He's at such a fun age. He eats with a fork and spoon, can drink out of a straw. Will let us know but coming and taking our hand and leading us to something that he wants. He follows directions very well. Brings us his sippy cup when he wants more. Is on big boy (hard plastic) sippy cups now. He still isn't talking much. A few words here and there but not a lot of talking yet. It will come when he's ready. He is just so much fun to play with and interact with. We love him so much and can't wait for the two to be able to play together!!!
Jakobe met his baby sister today. He wanted NOTHING to do with her. He would rather play with his orange aka 'ball' as he called it.
