Julefest!

Julefest is a Danish Christmas party for the kids. They get to hear a story, dance around the Christmas tree, and meet Santa. This was Jakobe's first time meeting Santa. I told Jakobe that he'd better be nice to Santa so he'll bring him lots of presents. Jakobe didn't cry or flip out.... he just looked around like will someone please save me? Jakobe, Grandma Jane, and myself dancing around the Christmas tree!

What an Adorable Smile.

10 Months Old!

Can you believe Jakobe is 10 months old? Crazy! Our boy weighs 16 lbs. 14 oz. Yes, he lost weight from 9 months. Probably because he was sick for over a week with the Roto Virus and had it coming out both ends. Jakobe started on 2% milk on Friday and is devouring it. He drank an entire gallon of milk in 2 days. He'll put on that weight in no time at this pace. Jakobe is babbling more and more. He will have conversations with us. We are working on mama, dada, and touchdown. He says mama and dada often but we still aren't fully convinced that he means it. He is eating 3rd foods and has started on a few finger foods. He is cruising like crazy and can stand for up to a minute on his own. He can walk behind a walker. He is still sleeping through the night!!! I don't know how David and I survived for 9 months waking up every 2-3 hours?! He has also hit the stranger stage. He will start to cry and turn into David or I (who ever is holding him) and wrap his arms around us tightly. He still gives hugs and kisses. (I hope that never stops). We will say, "Can I have a hug?" He'll wrap his arms around us. Then, "Can I have a kiss?" He'll put his lips against ours. It's super cute. It's one of my favorite things that he does. He now has is very own play room. David and I turned our spare bedroom into a play room for Jakobe. He loves it! Happy Thanksgiving! We can't wait to see everyone!
