Easter Egg Hunting!

Jakobe had an absolute blast Easter egg hunting! He was so cute to watch. He picked up on it right away. When he found an egg he would pick it up and shake it to hear what was inside. Then, put it into his Spongebob Easter basket. He found a lot of eggs. Some were hidden well and he still found them. He then went to the sidewalk and dumped out all of his eggs. He started to open them and unwrap the chocolate. He then would just put the open piece of chocolate on the concrete...not eating it. Strange but cute. He ended up with a lot of candy and a little over $20 to split with Callie! It was a fun Easter at Great Grandma and Grandpa Marilyin and Bill's house. 

Easter Egg Dipping Fun!

Jakobe had a great time coloring Easter eggs. I think he had a little too much fun. He managed to break 4 eggs and spill the coloring all over the place! He just enjoyed taking the eggs in and out of their color. It was cute to watch him but we had to be on Jakobe patrol the entire time. His eggs AND his hands turned out so colorful!!!

Easter Basket Fun!

The kids enjoyed their Easter baskets. Jakobe's was filled with a lot of outdoor toys like bubbles, a baseball bat and ball along with bases, sports beach balls, and chalk. Callie's basket was filled with a ladybug blanket, a bath time book, an Easter bunny, and some rattles and chewing toys (as you can see those came in handy...everything went into her mouth). The kids had a great time playing with their new stuff!

Some Backyard Fun!

Jakobe enjoyed playing in our backyard this weekend. He had fun trying to eat rocks, putting his ball in the bird bath, climbing on his picnic table, and going down his slide!
