'Ho-Ho'

Jakobe is playing with his favorite 'ho ho'. He calls boats 'ho ho's' for some reason. I'm not sure where he picked it up from but a boat isn't called a boat......it's a ho ho! :)

New Swing Set! 6.14.11

Thanks to my great friend Amy, for all of her help with this swing set! GO BLONDES! We did it all by ourselves!!! We used her truck to go pick up a swing set for the kids. Her and I got it in and straped down all on our own! (can you tell I'm proud) We drove it from Ankeny to Des Moines and it took us about 40 minutes.We had to stop and have me climb in back to help hold it down bc the wind was so strong, it almost blew out of the truck. We had to stop once more bc my arms were burning so bad from holding down the swing set. I had to used all my strength and my arms just had nothing left in them. So we stopped and let me have a 5 minute break. LOL. Then we were back on the road again. Got it home safely and unloaded it. Carried it to the backyard and set it up right away! Amy and I did it! We did it all by ourselves!!!
David arrived home with the kids about 30 minutes later and took them right to the backyard! They were both SO excited!!! They just love it!

We went to the Omaha Zoo on 6.5.11 with Nana! Besides it being extremely hot out, we all had an amazing time! Kobe came home with a cool new Shark set and Callie got a purple turtle! We had hot dogs, ice cream, train rides and saw a lot of animals! It was a lot of fun! Thanks Nana! We are going to make a tradition and travel to a different Zoo every Summer!
