A Beautiful Drawing of Callie

One of the teachers at the kids' daycare is going to Art School. She drew this amazing drawing of Callie with pencil. We hung it on our bedroom wall next to Jakobe's 16 X 20 picture. This drawing is absolutely amazing. I can't get over the detail and how real it looks. She is extremely talented and I'm lucky that she drew this for us and it's something we can enjoy forever! My mom sent me a couple pictures that she found of me when I was a baby. I think Callie looks like I did as a baby. Both of these pictures are of me. This picture was taken at my daycare when I was in time out! I was about a year old.

The Children's Museum!

Jakobe had a blast at the Children's Museum! His favorite was watching a cloud go up in the air. He also really liked the dinosaur eggs. He stayed busy and was so interested in a lot of things there. It was fun to watch him play, learn and explore!

Ohio Vacation June 2010!

Yes, I'm a little late on this post. Sorry. I had about 200 pictures to go through and decide what ones to post. Here we go!

We had a great vacation to Ohio! We did a lot of things and had an amazing time. It was about a 13 hour car drive and the kids did amazing! Callie slept most of the way (she had an ear infection) and Grandpa Mark (Papa) kept Jakobe entertained. While we were in Ohio, we went to the Zoo, The Children's Museum, the Mall, and Kaley's High School graduation party!  We also had a nice dinner at the Shlaes' house! It was a great trip and great to see all our family!
